Paso Robles Festival of the Arts
Posted on 27 May 2012
This weekend we took a short break from preparing for the upcoming Henry Road show to take in the sights and sounds of the Paso Robles Festival of the Arts. We live in Paso Robles, so it would have been remiss of us to not stop by (plus as there are no windows in the studio, we had to get our daily dose of vitamin D—so we were doing it for our health as well.)
There was music playing, women twirling from trees, ballerinas posing for plein air painters, sand castles being built. There were also over 100 artists showing their amazing art, including sculpture, painting, photography and collage. We only got to spend a couple of hours wandering around, but definitely need to go back to see everything.
Our purchase? A yard-long bag of kettle corn. It was gone before dinner time.
