Our good friends Lorie and Scott are turning their love of vinyl and the absurd into a new venture called Ridiculous Records. For as long as I've known her Lorie has had amazing taste in music, and when she met Scott, a former tour bus driver for bands like Wilco and Tom Petty, love put the needle on their record. Ridiculous Records will feature some of the strangest finds from their vinyl hunting safaris across the country where they scour thrift shops, flea markets and garage sales to bring us the best in crazy album covers.
My favorite feature of their new blog is "Religious Record Sunday", where I found the gem pictured above. "Hello God? It's me, Jerry! Jerry Jordan! No, the other one. The one who has the sideburns that almost grow into his mouth. Yeah! Hey, how's it hangin'?"
Check out the Ridiculous Records blog here, and keep an eye out for their Etsy store, coming soon!
