We are looking for a detail oriented, motivated Office Manager to join our incredible team at The Mincing Mockingbird.

We’re looking for someone who can run the day-to-day business operations while supporting our team. The ideal candidate will work closely with supervisors and the marketing coordinator to help them meet their weekly goals, run reports, administer HR in conjunction with Quickbooks HR, all while running the office by ordering supplies and equipment, making phone calls, conducting research, and solving problems.


  • Ability to handle heavy workloads, establish and meet deadlines, and work effectively and accurately with frequent interruptions and shifting priorities.
  • Excellent math and bookkeeping skills to successfully manage accounts payable and receivable and to identify and resolve problems.
  • Submit hours via timekeeping software for payroll.
  • Ability to analyze financial data, work with the accounting team to prepare financial reports and projections and make financial recommendations for budget planning and decision making for departments.
  • Ability to identify, analyze, and resolve problems.
  • Communication and interpersonal skills to obtain and convey information clearly and to establish and maintain effective working relationships with a wide range of individuals including the marketing department, accounting, and supervisors.
  • Ability to work as part of a team, to be flexible, responsive, coachable, and adaptable to fluctuating demands.
  • Strong computer and internet skills and the ability to use Google Docs, Word, Excel, and learn any new database effectively.
  • Ability to maintain orderly, complete, and secure financial and personnel files.
  • Ability to maintain orderly and up-to-date office and equipment files.
  • Working knowledge of purchasing, financial, and personnel policies and procedures.
  • Ability to compose clear written correspondence to a wide range of individuals to address issues, propose solutions, solicit input.
  • Ensure company-wide compliance with policies and procedures within the Employee Handbook and Operations Manual, as well as continually updating those documents.


  • A college degree in a related field (AA, BA, BS) or equivalent combination of experience and education that provides the necessary knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the essential functions of this position.
  • 4+ years of work experience providing operations and administrative management support
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Energetic, enthusiastic, and confident in handling any problem head-on
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to juggle competing projects and prioritize accordingly
  • Exceptional time management, organization, and personal effectiveness
  • Ability to meet deadlines and remain calm under pressure

M-F 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Pay: $58,000-$68,000 per year
